Welcome to Lightroom Classic CC for Beginners – A Photo Editing Course

Instructor, Chuck Fleischman
January 7, 14, 28 & February 4
Mondays – 10 am – 12 noon

This course is designed to give individuals with little or no proficiency in Lightroom the tools to perform the key functions involved with storing images in a way that they than can be readily located and edited so they can be enhanced and shared.  The course will concentrate on two major segments of the program, the Library Module that deals with importing, storing, finding and exporting images and the Develop Module that deals with enhancing images. This is a hands-on course and students will, for the most part, use their own images to explore the capabilities of Lightroom. What Students Need:
  • A laptop computer running either Windows 7 or higher or MacOS v. 10.12 or 10.13.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Package.
  • A means to connect your camera or smart device to the computer such as a card reader, connecting cables by emailing your pictures to the computer.
The Computer Program: Lightroom is one program that is part of a suite Adobe’s Creative Cloud for Photographers.  Adobe Creative Cloud contains Lightroom Photoshop and Bridge and is sold on a subscription base only for $9.99 plus tax a month.  The subscription can be cancelled at any time and it grants a license for two computers so you can have it on both a laptop and a desktop computer. Please note the Monday class on January 21 is cancelled due to weather.  The make up class will be on Monday, February 4th.
