1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

The war in Ukraine has more significance to the world at large than is generally understood.  This lecture/discussion will present the brutal conflict within its historical context, its current conditions, and why the outcome is critical to our global world.

The lecture is for adults who are looking to engage in lively conversations about newsworthy issues. Each participant should be opened-minded and willing to learn and listen, and will come away with a myriad of perspectives to consider and a better understanding of the world we live in.

Dr. Alfred Hunt, who will moderate the discussion, is a retired Professor from SUNY Purchase. He has given lectures throughout New England for over 20 years. He is an author, a two-time Fulbright scholar, and was a host for an award-winning cable TV Show.

The fee for the 90 - minute lecture is $25.  The group is limited to 25 participants.
