In-person
Stories are the foundation of all our communication. They spark emotion and help us find the commonalities in our shared human experiences and to connect more meaningfully to one another. We all have them. And, whether big or small, all of our stories matter.
Your Stories Matter: The Art of Storytelling Workshop provides the resources needed to begin to shape the experiences of your life into captivating stories and to gain the confidence needed to share them with others. Learning objectives are as follows:
- Understand the essential building blocks of effective story-crafting
- Review the differences between crafting a written story versus an oral story
- Practice public speaking and performance exercises to increase confidence and authenticity and to help engage and inspire listeners
The workshop includes time for writing, reflection, constructive feedback, active listening, and group discussion in a relaxed, supportive environment. The fee is $45 and enrollment is limited to 20 participants.
