Publishing Panel and Q&A

Online via Zoom

Do you have burning questions about publishing you’d like answered by pros? Would you like to learn more about the current state of the publishing industry, mistakes to avoid when submitting your work, the difference between traditional and independent publishers, and what author success can look like today?

Arts Escape is hosting a panel featuring literary agent Barbara Clark; traditionally published author Alena Dillon; and Woodhall Press executive editor Chris Madden.

Attendees will hear from each of the panelists about their slice of the publishing pie and what it takes to succeed in today’s environment. A Q&A session will follow the presentations, so bring those burning questions.

Barbara Clark is a longtime veteran of the book publishing industry. In addition to running her own one-woman literary agency, Barbara has been a book packager, book doctor, Mediabistro instructor, and self-publishing consultant. As an independent contractor, she currently works for a “Big Five” imprint as an expert-level copyeditor and fact-checker. Find out more at www.barbaraclarkagency.com.
