Monotype Workshop

Newtown artist Roberta Shea will conduct a monotype printmaking workshop that is open to painters and artists of all levels of art and those who wish to try something new. This workshop is designed to free you from artistic blocks and demystify the printmaking process of monotype. She will explore the magic of monotype, this one-of-a kind printing process.  Inks, paper, and brayers will be provided but students are encouraged to bring found materials and other visual stimuli to work from.

The fee for the one-day workshop is $65 and is limited to 10 students.

Roberta Shea is a former art teacher and painter/printmaker who exhibits locally and in New Hampshire.  She received her degree in art education from Southern Connecticut State University and taught art at Masuk High School in Monroe.
