Back by popular demand, actor, J.T. Turner returns to Arts Escape with his portrayal of Washington Irving’s famous story, “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.”  Taking on all the roles of this Halloween tale, Turner has adapted the piece to keep all ages entertained. This is story theater at its best! An award-winning actor and playwright, J.T. Turner is sure to bring thrills and chills to all ages in this original and engaging one-man show.

Arts Escape is partnering with the Heritage Hotel to host this performance, which will take place downstairs in front of the stone fireplace. Attendees will enjoy fall-themed refreshments, courtesy of the hotel, during the performance.

J.T. Turner is an award-winning actor who recently had a principal role Don’t Look Up, a Netflix film released in December 2021. Playing the role of Old Billionaire, he worked alongside Meryl Streep and Mark Rylance. He is also in two HBO series: Julia and The Gilded Age, and serves as a descriptive narrator for PBS on new episodes of Nova and a return of Pinkalicious!

Turner performs at the North Shore Music Theater in his eleventh year in A Christmas Carol as Mr. Fezzwig and Marley. He is also a certified teacher of Tai Chi and Qigong.
