The Art of Visibility – A Workshop

Have you ever felt ignored, overlooked, or dismissed and wondered why? These feelings can overwhelm us in everyday interactions, including professional or personal situations. Often, we are left feeling marginalized and  frustrated.  We may even start to question our relevance.

 What are the secrets that enable others to confidently stand up and be noticed in a positive way? Join us for this 90-minute workshop to understand and practice techniques that will help you be  recognized for your ideas and effectively communication your needs.   

Below are the topics we will explore:

  • Being your own cheerleader.
  • Understanding  and overcoming childhood myths.
  •  Using  articulate speech patterns to be heard and recognized.
  • Speaking up appropriately in professional and social settings.
  • Increasing  your curiosity  quotient.
  • Getting comfortable with small talk. 
  • Using positive body language.

The fee for the workshop is $30. The workshop minimum is 4 participants, and the maximum is 20.

*Students must be registered and paid in full three business days before the start of the class/workshop. Exceptions only with permission from the Director of Writing Programs.

COVID POLICY – Only fully vaccinated students will be permitted to attend classes. Physical proof of vaccination will be requested on the first day of class (one time only). Don’t forget to bring your vaccination card.

Bobbi Knezek

Bobbi Knezek is a co-founder of WD Communications, an international training company that focuses on helping employees at all levels strengthen their leadership, presentation, and writing skills.

Throughout her career, one of Bobbi’s passions has been helping women in the corporate environment communicate their value and credibility more confidently.  While she has continued to work in this space, she has also begun to recognize the importance of helping women in all walks of life increase their relevance and visibility. 

Before founding WD Communications, Bobbi developed her love for effective communication as  a newspaper reporter and a college writing professor.
