This workshop is for all levels of painters, especially the beginner student. Students will be working from reference photos provided by Anda prior to each class. She will discuss and demonstrate value studies of each composition which will become the layout for your painting. Instruction will be given on the importance of light and shadow which creates interesting and emotional drama in your paintings. ** **Students should print the photo reference prior to class.
*Students must be registered and paid in full three business days before the start of the class/workshop. Exceptions only with permission from the Director of Fine Art/Photography.
The fee for the five-week class is $285 and limited to 8 students.
For those students who don’t have supplies, there is a $25 supply fee which includes 2 canvases,”golden” paints and “sta wet” products for use with the masterson acrylic palettes used in this class. Brushes are available as well as the masterson palettes. They can be purchases or returned after the five weeks of classes.

Anda’s paintings and techniques are published in two books by North Light Publications. Her works are currently represented by several galleries in and around New England and to her credit, she has had many one-woman shows with great success. Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago is lucky to have four of her large paintings in their permanent collection.
