Learn hands-on, in the field at beautiful locations across Connecticut with award-winning photographer, John Munno. Come and recharge, rejuvenate and revitalize yourself in nature while learning to shoot spectacular, interesting photographs. All levels of experience are welcome!

All workshops will be held outdoors adhering to the CT state guideline's for safe practices during a pandemic.

Equipment: Digital or Mirror-less cameras with the ability to change shutter and aperture speeds is recommended. No cell phone cameras. Tripods.

Hammonanset State Park

The sea has a special lure, energy, and presence that lends itself beautiully to photography. The ocean with it's ever changing waves and movement makes for endless possibilities to capture through photography, especially long exposure photography. In this class students will learn the tips and tricks to photographing seascapes and sunsets to create photos with life, energy and beauty.

Come to Connecticut's largest beach to breathe in the sea air, view salt marshes, and take in the beauty of the Connecticut Coast.

Topics: camera settings for seascapes, the use of graduated neutral density filters and polarizers, remote shutters/cable releases for long exposure photography.

Students are required to make their own transportation arrangements. Please make sure you arrive 15 minutes prior to the workshop and have your equipment ready to go at 6 pm.
