Portrait Head Drawing Part I explores the structural foundation of the head.  Part II teaches you to use tone to create form. Students should have taken a previous portrait class with Linda or another instructor. Students will draw from observation, interpreting the human form through light and shadow while using a full range of values to create the illusion of depth on a two-dimensional surface.  After working from casts or photographs the students will apply their skills to working from the model to analyze the head, its gesture, placement on the page and creating a likeness.  Enjoy exploring and drawing the portrait head! The fee for the 4 classes is $175 which includes all supplies. Class size is limited to 8 students.
