You’ve written it, you’ve revised it, and now it’s ready to be shared.  Bringing your writing to life by reading it to a live audience can be thrilling.  You can ensure a great experience for both audience and author through solid preparation.  Come to this workshop to learn the best techniques for sharing your work, including vocal delivery, body language, use of a microphone, and how to deal with performance anxiety. Nancy McMillan overcame performance anxiety as a pianist and has transferred these techniques to sharing the spoken word.  If you’re a Threads member, you have an opportunity to share your work the following Wednesday, May 22, at the Student Show. Class size is limited to 10 students.  The fee for the workshop is $45.
