Don't Understand Poetry?  "It's not your cup of tea?"  This workshop may be just for you!  Celebrate National Poetry Month in April and try your hand at poetry.  No experience necessary.  In this three-hour workshop, we’ll explore two poetry forms: haiku and pantoum.  Both forms are very accessible, with clear structural rules.  The haiku is known for its economy of language and subtlety.  The pantoum uses a pattern of repeating lines which yields a structure both intriguing and revealing.  The instructor will guide students step-by-step in creating their poems. The fee for the workshop is $45 and seating is limited to 8 students.
