Have you ever wondered how silk scarves are made and where the beautiful bold designs come from? Well this workshop is for you! You will become the designer of your own silk scarf. Students will start with a square sun catcher and work with resist, then on to a scarf, they can do either a resist drawn design or a abstract silk design with multi colors. Silk painting is something most people can do at home once they learn the process and techniques. The instructor will give students resources if they choose to continue. The fee for the workshop is $65 which includes one silk scarf and one sun catcher. Class size is limited to 5 students.
