This is a step by step oil painting class for the beginner student or the student who wants to refresh their painting skills and not invest in all the supplies. Students will learn how to prep their canvases, block in the shapes and colors to start their painting. This is important for setting the general color harmony and composition of the painting. Students will then start to build the form and some detail while still trying to paint generally. Once students are happy with their composition, the detail will be added to complete the painting. The fee for the 3-week, 6 hour class is $110 which includes all supplies. Class size is limited to 10 students.
