All About Lenses and Composition

Bellamy-Ferriday House and Gardens

Choosing different lenses to photograph can be quite overwhelming for most people. This one-day workshop will help demystify the wide variety of choices. Students will leave the workshop with an understanding of lens terminology such as focal length, prime, zoom, telephoto, macro, wide angle, etc.

Knowing which lenses to use to enhance your photographic story is what makes a photo unique and interesting. "The eye is the window of the soul, and the lens is the window to the world" John Munno.

Lenses have their strengths and weaknesses - Students will learn best-practices through hands-on instruction during the workshop. For those students who are considering investing in more lenses, this workshop will be a great resource in making that decision.

The fee for the workshop is $40 and limited to 8 students.
