In this demo Anda Styler will show how to use acrylics on the aluminum - and the preparation of using aluminum.

Aluminum is a perfect surface to paint acrylics on and have luminous effects.  Since the aluminum does not absorb the colors like regular cotton canvas - the colors are more vibrant and true. Small flecks of the metal can show through adding even more excitement to the final painting. She will be working in a very limited color pallet as well.

The demo will show composition, value study and then light - and then color.  Light and shadow are the power of the landscape..and the aluminum lends its self well to this.
