The Importance of Art and Brain Health

Please join us for an informative discussion with Angel Duncan and Vito Boffoli about the benefits of art not only for recreation and pleasure, but for medicinal reasons, such has physical and mental rehabilitation.

Angel Duncan is the Director of the Masters in Art Therapy and Counseling Department and Assistant Professor at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven.  She has extensive experience in counseling, art therapy and Alzheimer’s research.  She consults worldwide in brain health initiatives.

Vito Boffoli, MS OTR/L, is an Occupational Therapist with Nuvance Health.  His primary focus is neurological rehabilitation, helping patients maximize their quality of life and well-being..
