Have you been meaning to update your resume or create a new one but just can’t make yourself get started? Join this  two-session workshop and create a resume that incorporates the newest resume writing trends and addresses hiring managers’ preferences. 

During our first session, we will practice the skills needed to clearly communicate your accomplishments and demonstrate your skills and potential.  During the second session, we will review your resume and provide feedback. 

Discussions and practice exercises include the following:

 *Writing the summary

 *Organizing your work history effectively

 *Phrasing responsibilities to highlight their value

 *Emphasizing accomplishments

 *Handling employments gaps

 *Increasing the visual appeal of the resume

Attendees are welcome to bring their current resume to class.

Instructor:  Bobbi Knezek is the former owner of WD Communications, an international communications training firm.  She has spent her career developing and presenting seminars to help corporate employees at all levels polish their writing, speaking, and leadership skills.  In addition, as a career coach, she has helped numerous professionals create effective resumes and successfully prepare for job interviews.

The fee for the 3--hour workshop is $35. Class size is limited to 8 students. Students must register by Wednesday, January 20th to receive the Zoom link.
