
Watercolor Class for the Beginning/Intermediate Student

This watercolor class for beginners and intermediates students. Students will explore the properties of paint and paper working from a still life. Students may bring an object to be included in the still life if they would like to. Subsequent classes will be designed according to the overall skill and needs of the students. Wet on wet, negative painting and charging color will be introduced as well as hard and soft edges. Students will also have the opportunity to experiment with translucent and opaque color. Intermediate students are asked to bring a notebook paints and 140lb Arches cold press paper. Beginning students please bring a notebook and supplies will be provided if you need them.
The fee for the 4-week class is $120 without supplies and $140 with supplies. Please use the drop-down menu when registering.
Class is limited to 7 students. All students will be required to abide by the the CT state guidelines for small group gatherings. Those guidelines will be sent to each student prior to the first class.
