Anime is short for animation which comes from Japan. Manga is the comic book version in which this class will be taught. The aim of this class is to help students learn to draw by hand. Students will learn to create their own unique characters and learn not only the basics, but the skills that they need in order to capture the essence of this style. From the fun characters we see on television to characters that you come up with in class, we will cover the basics and increase their exposure to advance techniques. Students will primarily use pencils, pens, copic markers & paper. Most importantly students will be learning in an enriching and creative environment with enthusiastic and like-minded peers.
